Building Relationships:

Network Marketing is all about building relationships.  Imagine if you were to open a store or other business and wanted to start having customers and/or clients.  What would you do?  Advertise?  Tell your family and friends about your new business?  Open the door and hope that people will somehow find you?

Most likely you will advertise and tell your family and friends.  And when they show an interest in your business, you will do everything you can to keep their business, won't you?  You will build a relationship with them so that they will come to your business again and again.

It is the same with Network Marketing.  You want to build long-lasting relationships with your team members, your upline and others in your business.  You want them to be successful just like you want to be successful yourself.

So how do you build solid relationships?Remember the golden rule!  Do unto other as you would have them do unto you!  That is the perfect answer! Treat your team members as you would like to be treated.  Be there for them.  Show them respect.  Help them.  Be their leader.  Have patience.  Help them learn.  Be loyal to them. Attend meetings and conventions, listen to conference calls, keep in touch with your team members so that you can learn how to "work the business" of network marketing and you will learn how to build relationships. You will learn invaluable lessons that will apply to your business as well as your personal life! In any profession, leaders are required to take "management" classes to learn how to handle relationships with other people for the success of everyone. Local meetings are a way to meet others face-to-face and get to know your them as individuals, not just a name on your genealogy!  You can make friends for life in Network marketing!

Building a relationship with your team members will create strength and long-term stability in your organization. After all you are working to build a long term residual income, an income that you want to last. You do not want to continuously be starting over in your business do you?  Network Marketing is a relationship business! It's always been this way and it always will be! The more we try and get away from this the more we take away from what Network Marketing is really all about! It's about people reaching out to other people and helping them to become the BEST they can be!
